The top cover, super, brood box and bottom board are formed each as
one-piece molded parts, ensuring high thermal insulation that is a major
priority for a colony, particularly in extreme climates.
One-piece molded hive bodies also reduce the number of places pests or
robbing bees can enter and help the bees succesfully defend their hive.
The top covers were specially designed to give enough clearance to the
ventilation slots on the sides when placed side by side during
transportation. The recesses and the strapping grooves on the top cover
enable the hives to be easily transported.
The vent slots on the two sides of the top cover can be adjusted
according to different ventilation needs.
